You all know how much I love a longline cardigan – I have been wearing them on the blog all fall and winter. Although I am vertically-challenged (5’2″ on a good day), the long silhouette is quite flattering on my frame. It elongates my torso and doesn’t make my legs look too short, as long as I pair it with heels. Since I love the silhouette so much, I was looking for a way to incorporate it into my spring wardrobe. When I laid my eyes on this beauty, I immediately knew I needed it in my closet. Despite the vibrant color and floral print, it is super versatile!
I love the loose, easy style of this kimono. It’s so easy to throw on over anything and it’s breezy enough that you won’t be a bath of perspiration by the end of the day. The material is slightly sheer and very thin so I particularly love it on a breezy day – such as this one! In order to avoid the look being overwhelming and busy, I paired the statement piece with dark denim and a basic white tank. To play up the 70’s vibe that this flowy kimono has, I accessorized with platform heels and round-framed sunnies!
