While it is still not technically Fall just yet, I am getting use out of all of my Summer clothes before I make the official switch over. Nothing screams “summer” to me quite like an all-white ensemble but it can tend to give off a Miami Vice vibe if you’re not careful. Whenever this happens but I still want to rock a monochromatic look, I incorporate light neutrals such as gray, blush, or beige. These soft hues keep the overall feel fresh without washing you out or making you feel like Don Johnson himself.
Something that I think a lot of people find challenging, especially in the transitional months between seasons, is incorporating pieces that are still “season appropriate” but serve a necessary purpose. A tip for this is to pay attention to colors (generally, keep things light and bright for summer) but also to fabrics! This jacket, for example, is a light jersey cotton so it’s very Summer appropriate but still adds an extra layer that helps block out the Fall chill in the air that sneaks up as the sun goes down.
