Ever since before we got engaged, we knew exactly who would be part of our bridal party and couldn’t wait to ask them. Namely our ring bearers and flower girl! When you have little cousins and siblings as sweet and cute as we do, it’s a no-brainer. If you’ve never heard of a proposal gift before, let me break it down for you. Nowadays, your fiance isn’t the only one who gets to “propose.” When forming your bridal party, it is popular to put together a cute gift to ask your friends and family to be part of your big day! I wrote a post all about how I asked my bridesmaids here. Asking the little ones was especially fun because I knew they were going to be so excited. Stay tuned to find out how we asked our flower girl! Since our ring bearers are still little and have no real concept of what being a ring bearer even is, I wanted something that they could actually understand and use to make the whole experience more special.
After a bit of research, I decided I wanted to get each of the boys their own puzzle that they could put together on their own. That way it was a little toy that they could play with but it was still relevant to being a ring bearer. A lot of the puzzles I found just simply said “Will you be our ring bearer?” and since 1/2 of the boys can’t read yet, that was pretty boring. Then I found 3LittleFlowers and I knew my search was over. Anelys, the owner of the shop, creates personalized gifts for kids (and adults!) – one thing is cuter than the next! She makes everything from puzzles to chore charts to t-shirts to lunch boxes. Seriously, you need to check out the shop – you’re going to be swooning over the pieces just as much as I was. The reason I chose these specific puzzles was because Anelys can completely customize each one to make it look exactly like the child. I loved this so much because even the kids who couldn’t read the words felt so special to have a toy that looked just like them. When my little cousin Liam opened his, the first words out of his mouth were a very enthusiastic “Hey! That’s me!” The fact that he totally understood that it was a gift made just for him made me that much happier that I chose these for the boys. She also has flower girl puzzles available here! I cannot wait for the kids to be part of our wedding day – they are so incredibly important to me and Andrew and we love them so much.
